It was held that the High Court was fully justified in convicting the appellant under section 302 and 364 of the Indian penal Code as the High Court had discussed the evidence and catalogued various circumstances that conclusively prove the guilt of the appellant. The High Court also effectively displaced all the important reasons given by the Sessions Court for acquittal mentioning that the Session Court rejected the prosecution case on general grounds like the witnesses were interested and belonging to a particular caste.
