Respondent suffered heart attack and had to go bypass surgery. Under new medical policy he was entitled to medical reimbursement on basis of AIMS rate. Due to emergency he got himself treated in another hospital. Respondent claimed additional amount which was granted by High Court on ground that new policy was not sufficiently published. Grant of High Curt rejected by Supreme Court. Plea of respondent to be considered on compassionate grounds will be considered by appellant authorities on its own merit.
