JUDGMENT
1. Leave granted in SLP (C) No. 10440 of 1994.
2. These appeals have been filed on behalf of the Union of India and others for setting aside the judgment of the Calcutta High Court, holding that the 1984 Regulations so far they allow temporary licence to be issued on conditions prescribed therein were invalid. On that finding, the writ petition filed by the respondents in the present appeals were allowed. In view of the judgment which has been delivered today by us in CA No. 2632 of 1985, these appeals are allowed. The judgment of the High Court is set aside and the writ petition filed on behalf of the respondents is dismissed. No costs.
