Appellants convicted for offence under Sections 34, 302 and 148. Death sentences awarded to Appellants No. 1, 3, 5, and 7. On appeal High Court confirmed conviction and sentence of Appellants No. 1, 3, 5 and 7. Supreme Court upheld conviction of four appellants as they participated in crime and shared common intention of murdering deceased. Since appellant No. 5 was only of eighteen years his sentence altered from death sentence to life imprisonment. Death sentence of appellant No. 7 altered to life imprisonment.
