The Supreme Court had called upon the independent agency to inspect the site and examine the report the report submitted by the Central Pollution Control Board and it has been directed to give its opinion whether the infirmities pointed out by the Board are correct or not. The NEERI is directed to send two of its competent officers o inspect the factory premises after giving notice to Shree Acids D=Chemicals and also inform the officers of the Board. With regard to INSILCO, the affidavit filed shows that it had taken all prohibitory measures and complied with the recommendations of the Board. Therefore the Board shall re-inspect the premises of INSILCO and submit a report on the same.
