The application of the Revenue under Section 256(1) of the Income Tax Act to call for a reference of two questions, which was against its earlier decisions, was earlier rejected by the Tribunal. On Appeal to High Court it was dismissed on the ground that there was no question of law. The Apex Court also dismissed the SLP and stated that the earlier decisions of the Tribunal on the same question remain unchallenged.
