ORDER

 

Learned Solicitor-General states that Fatehpur Sikri is one of the three heritage cities in the country and ASI now proposes to develop the same as such. As a first step, it is proposed that the car parking which is in front of the Buland Darwaza will be shifted to the land approximate to 244/2 and the shops will automatically, with or without persuasion, move to that area, ASI will come up with a proposal whereby the whole area in question, namely, Fatehpur Sikri is developed as a heritage city should. We direct the State of U.P. to render all assistance to ASI in the discharge of its duties. Draft proposal of ASI should be filed withinthree weeks.
