1. Leave granted.

 

2. We have heard learned counsel for the parties. The appellant herein has been tried on allegations leveled against him for offence punishable under Sections 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Bail has not been granted by the High Court initially as well as in the subsequent application filed by the appellant.

 

3. On the facts and in the circumstances, the appellant is enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer. The Appeal is allowed to the above extent.
