State of Haryana

Vs.

Veer Parkash & Anr.

C.A.No.2147 of 2008

(Tarun Chatterjee and Harjit Singh Bedi,JJ.)

24.03.2008

ORDER

1. granted.

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties. On 15.05.2007, notice was issued limited to the question as to whether back wages should be paid or not. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that instead of 50% of back wages as directed by the Labour Court and as affirmed by the High court, 25% of back wages shall be paid to the respondent within a period of two months from this date. We order accordingly. With this modification, the order of the High Court is affirmed. The appeal is disposed of accordingly.

3. There shall be no order as to costs.
