Interms of order dated 2nd December, 2002, the States of Uttranchal and U.P. were required to put forth their respective proposal/counter proposal before the Standing Committee. Mr.PN Mishra, learned senior counsel states that State of Uttranchal has already sent its proposal to the Standing Committee. He further submits that in so faras he has learnt the State of U.P. has not sent its proposal/counter proposal. Mr. RC Verma, learned counsel is unable to state whether the State of U.P. has sent its proposal/counter proposal in terms of order dated 2nd December, 2002 or not. The final decision of the Standing Committee in terms of order dated 2nd December required to be taken with in five weeks and communicated to this Court. In case, the State of U.P. has not sent its proposal/counter proposal it shall now send it to the Standing Committee with out any further delay and in no case beyond one week from today so that on the adjourned date this Court has the views of Standing Committee before it. 2.
