1 SpotLaw (Supreme Court Of India) Prajwala v. Union Of India (S.B. Sinha and S.H. Kapadia,Jj.,) Writ Petition (Civil) No. 56 Of 2004 | 29 -07 -2005 1. The learned Solicitor General appearing for the Union of the India has filed a draft protocol for pre -rescue, rescue and post -rescue operations of child victims of trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation, a copy whereof has been served upon Mr. Colin Gansalves, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners. Mr. Gonsalves, however, submits that the said protocol does not take care of some areas, namely, quantity and quality of food supplied to the inmates as also supply of medicines particularly to those who are suffering from disease like HIV Positive etc. requiring supply of anti -viral and other costly drugs. 2. Mr. Go nsalves states that a short note containing his proposals as regard betterment of the conditions of the inmates and in particular supply of food and medicines to them shall be prepared by him; a copy whereof would be served upon the learned Solicitor Gener al within one week so as to enable him to seek appropriate instructions in that behalf. The learned Solicitor General states that the Union of India would submit its response to the suggestions proposed to be made by Mr. Gonsalves within six weeks. 3. Put up after six weeks.
