MANU/SC/0419/2014 : 2014(7) SCALE 306 is inconsistent with the judgment of the Constitution Bench of this Court in P.A. Inamdar and Ors. v. State of Maharashtra and Ors. MANU/SC/0482/2005 : 2005(6) SCC 537. We, therefore, deem it appropriate to direct the Registry to place the matter before Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India for appropriate directions in the matter.
